From an early age, the sea was our playground. We spent our days sailing, diving and enjoying water sports, dreaming that the freedom we felt would never end. Over time, life, studies and work took us away from the sea… and from our beloved sailing boat, Perla Azul I. Until one day, we made a decision: to turn that dream into reality and create our own company.
That’s how Blue Sea Sailing was born – a family-run business built through hard work, skipper training and a shared passion for the sea. Thanks to you, our boats now sail through the crystal-clear waters of Ibiza and Formentera, where we’re waiting to welcome you on board for a truly authentic sailing experience.

I’ve lived close to the sea since I was a child, and I’ve spent my life sailing. What began as a dream – to have time to enjoy the sea – has become my profession, one I live with true passion. I studied biology in Málaga, trained as a professional skipper with both Spanish and British qualifications, and have devoted years to meditation and the pursuit of inner peace. I love sharing time on the water and revealing the wonders of the sea to those who are ready to explore.
Rubén’s Journey
Originally a marine biologist, Rubén swapped the lab for the helm. His path, guided by science, meditation and sailing, has shaped him into a captain with a unique perspective. Today, he invites you to discover the natural treasures of the waters surrounding Ibiza and Formentera – a world full of beauty and surprise.

Gabriel and the Sea
I’ve spent most of my life on the sea – it has become my sanctuary and part of who I am. I began studying navigation at 16, earning my RYA qualifications while still at school, plotting nautical charts in my spare time. Together with my brother, I’ve been lucky enough to turn our dream of living from the sea into a reality we now share with the world. I’m passionate about sport, animals and meditation. I’ll be waiting on board to explore the islands’ most magical corners with you.

A true sailor at heart, Gabriel’s life has been shaped by his love for the sea. An RYA-certified skipper, his journey blends nature, sport and serenity, creating unique voyages where every sailing trip tells a story in harmony with the ocean.
